Historical note
Although very few trekkers now visit the area around
Himlung Himal, it was one of the first areas in Nepal
visited by white men. We will be walking in the footsteps
of giants...
Expeditions to Himlung Himal:
The 7.126 meters high peak opened for mountainering
expeditions in 1992.
The first expedition to reach the summit of the mountain was
a Japanese team via West Ridge, on October 3, 1992.
